Mumbai court sends former encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma to NIA custody till June 28....

A special court in Mumbai on Thursday remanded former encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma and two others till June 28. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had arrested Pradeep Sharma for allegedly taking part in the conspiracy to kill Thane-based businessman Mansukh Hiren.

The two others who have been remanded are Satish Mothkuri alias Tanni alias Vicky Baba and Manish Soni. They were also arrested for allegedly killing Mansukh Hiren on the instructions of Pradeep Sharma and former Mumbai Police cop Sachin Waze, who is also an accused in the Antilia bomb scare case.

Appearing for the NIA, Special Public Prosecutor Sunil Gonsalves informed the court that the agency has seized a huge amount of cash involved in the murder, along with arms and ammunitions.
